DCB (Kent) Limited, part of Kinovo Plc have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior/Lead Estimator to lead and build an Estimating Team to provide building work estimating for the Kinovo Group.  We operate across the private and public sectors, working for a diverse range of clients from local authorities, social landlords & charities to private developers on a variety of work streams, including Design & Build, Refurbishment & Term Maintenance across the South East of England.

As Senior Estimator you will be responsible for the preparation and submission of tenders for projects up to £20m, working closely with our Group Bid Manager/Team.  Based ideally from our Hartlip office, we offer flexible working arrangements to suit both the current climate, and to meet Group requirements you will also work from Kinovo's H/O, near Waltham Abbey/Chingford borders, E4 7RW.

You should have previous experience in an estimating role within the construction sector, have good technical knowledge of construction and commercial experience.

Key skills/knowledge requirements:

  • Appropriate Construction related - HND/Degree or similar (essential).
  • Extensive experience of analytical building estimating in all sectors but to include industrial, commercial, education and health, on projects ranging from £100k to £20 million (essential).
  • All forms of contract including traditional, partnering, design & build 2 stage tenders and frameworks (essential).
  • Experience of using estimating software Evaluate (desirable).
  • Well-developed Technical Construction Knowledge (essential).
  • Knowledge of Building Regulations and other industry standards (essential).
  • Knowledge of BIM (advantageous).
